hahaa! jesse eisenberg 's a flightless bird !
at last 20th century fox with another animation flick !
i don't really fancy animation flicks these days cause they are all almost the same and have no variety . finding nemo and ratatouie are 2 pixar movies which i can still watch till this day and still can laugh out loud (for nemo) .
anyway , this movie starts of very plesantly , rich in intense exotic brazilian colours ! it's starts of with this song called "rio" in the tropics of brazil ! the most lovable thing about this scene was the colours especially the parrots . although it has a few bits and pieces of other cartoons ( i will not mention the title ) , it does play true to the animation world and it's audience and that is to entertain the public .
the movie then moves on to the relationship between a pet and an owner . what was her name ????? anyway , blu which happens to be the only male bird of his kind is invited to brazil to mate (hahhahaa) with a female to preserve and conserve his species . the whole marley and me thingy here was very touching as i have the same kind of relationship with my dog ! i love him (socks, been with me for 12 years and counting ) . do you even believe i teared up for marley and me ! oh and fox and the hound ?????
anyway , linda ( i remembered her name ) goes with blu (jesse eisenberg) from tinysoda to brazil to meet this bird , jewel (anne hatthaway) . they happen to be the most exotic blue birds and they are smuggled by these men ! eventually they escape and that's where the real story begins .
the movie had it's fair share of funny moments (you might find annoying bunch people laughing of their asses for the whole movie ! ANNOYING ! ) . it also had it's lightness to the musical numbers . i don't quite like the number by will i am and jamie fox , but i like song the evil owl sings . yeah ! that was nice and what else ?????
overall , this movie was kinda okay to watch judging the fact that animation flicks these days suck and what ever you do , don't forget about those annoying brats laughing behind you .
will i am and jamie fox as the uplifting charm !
