what comes to your mind when the word fondant is mentioned ?
hhhmmhhnnhh ?

spongebob ? mickey ? harry potter ?
well , that just happens to be my point !
you see , there are ample of stuff that come up to one's mind !
seriously people , when it comes to fondant , there is really no boundaries at all !

anything ! i mean anyting at all !
now , some of you might still be confused of the term sugar paste , marzipan , and fondant !

well , let me tell you those stuff i mentioned before are all so similar !
sculptures, molding , shaping and anything at all !
even fine art can be conjured with this fondant !

with it's stick but soft texture , it's sure to bring out the adventure within you !

those days , people used fondant for only and ONLY wedding cakes !
you know , those 5 tiered or maybe even 10 tiered cakes (which we saw at lisa menelli's wedding)

fondant is truly in a league of its own !

i remember i made my first fondant cake during new year !
it was a uuummhh cake shape in 2010 !
i know it wasn't that good , but i still enjoyed my time molding and applying it onto the cake !
i dont have a good picture but please excuse the "ugly me" in it !
hang on let me chew on this apple !

anyway , like i was saying , there's just too much to say about fondant !

people , tell you what ... go and buy a pack of fondant and let your creative side out !

oohh ! there was one time where a lady (shopaholic) . she loved designer bags so her husband made her a chanel cake bag , and that really was the dawn of this craze !

right now , my brother is pestering me to make a spongebob cake for him !

what do we think of inception

people , i have to say that when i heard chris nolan was doing a film with leonardo dicaprio , i was stoked .
well , maybe not stoked but almost there !
anyway , chris nolan , the director of many good films such as momento , dark night and many more never fails to impress me especially with his out of the world concepts and plots ! ( IT ALWAYS THICKENS ) .

ANYWAY IN INCEPTION , WE GET TO SEE HOW DREAMS ARE INTERPRETED .
I MUST SAY THAT THE DREAMS APPEAR VERY CONSTRUCTIVE AND NOT THE CLICHE' HAPPY AND MAGICAL THINGY THAT WE SEE IN ALMOST EVERY MOVIE ! THATS'S THE THING WITH NOLAN . HE EXCEEDS IN ORIGINALITY .

ONE OF THE THINGS WHICH I LOVE IN THIS MOVIE IS THE TOTEM !
I LOVE THIS CONCEPT !
A TOTEM , A TOOL THAT ENSURES WHETHER ONE I STILL DREAMING !
I WONDER WHAT MY TOTEM WOULD LOOK LIKE ?
I WOULD PROBABLY ASSOSIATE HARRY POTTER !
HAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAA !
NEVERMIND !

ANYWAY , THE PLAY OF TIMING WAS ALSO VERY WELL EXECUTED IN THIS CONCEPT ! I LOVED THE IDEA OF THE SPEED OF TIME AT DIFFERENT LEVELS OF THE DREAMS !
IT'S TRUE , I MEAN I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN DREAMING FOR HOURS BUT IN REALITY IT WAS JUST A MOMENT !


INCEPTION , A PROCESS WHERE ONE PLANTS AN IDEA INTO SOMEONE !
DOESN'T THAT SEEM SO POSSIBLE !
HOW DO YOU THINK PEOPLE GET IDEAS TO DO ANYTHING AT ALL !
FOR ME , I THINK EXTRACTION IS IMPOSSIBLE !
AN IDEA THAT IF ONCE PANTED , IT SHALL REMAIN WITHIN US !
SOMEWHERE DEEP WITHIN OUR THOUGHTS !

I LOVE GIGGLING !
ANYWAY , CHRIS NOLAN IS A GENIUS FOR COMING UP WITH THIS CONCEPT AND I DARE SAY IT IS SO FAR THE BEST MOVIE I WATCHED THIS YEAR !

WOULD IT BE AN OSCAR CONTENDER ?

YOU KNOW IN CERTAIN CATEGORIES LIKE , BEST MOVIE , BEST SOUND EDITING , BEST SOUND MIXING , BEST SCORE (ALTHOUGH I THINK HANS ZIMMER DIDN'T DO A GREAT JOB THIS TIME , OOOHHH MUSIC, I SHALL COME BACK TO THAT LATER ) , BEST DIRECTOR , BEST ART DIRECTION AND OTHERS !

THE ACTING WASN'T THAT ALL OUTSTANDING !
MARION COUTILLARD SEEMED VERY STIFF , BUT THEN AGAIN SHE WAS LOST IN LIMBO !
HAHAHAHHAA !
LEO HAD HIS DRAMATIC SCENES AS HE ALWAYS DOES !
ELLEN PAIGE DID AN OKAY JOB TOO !

NOW , FOR THE MUSIC !
MR ZIMMER , UUUMMH !

I HAVE TO SAY I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHO THE MUSIC DIRECTOR WAS BEFORE WATCHING THE MOVIE , BUT AS SOON AS I WATCHED IT , I KNEW THAT IT WAS HAANS ZIMMER !
THE THING IS I DIDN'T HEAR A SCORE FROM INCEPTION , I HEARD A SCORE FROM THE DAVINCI CODE !

MR ZIMMER DIDN'T DO IT THIS TIME !
GOSH , THE MUSIC WAS SO SIMILAR TO THE DAVINCE CODE THAT I WAS ACTUALLY MAD !
SO MAD !
REALLY !
ITS TRUE !
I GET MAD WHEN THE SCORE ISN'T GOOD !
UUUMMHH !
WHY DIDN'T THEY CHOOSE DANNY ELFMAN , OR JAMES NEWTON OR EVEN JOHN WILLIAMSTHE GREAT ?

THE ENDING MADE ME WONDER , IF HE CHOSED TO DREAM OF HIM BEING WITH HIS CHILDREN , WHY DIDN'T HE DO IT IN THE FIRST PLACE !

i have decided to write about one of the best actors of our time !
yes ! it is non other than leonardo di caprio !

now , the reason i am doing this thingy here is because i feel that leonardo doesn't get the appreciation and recognition for his work !
It is an undeniable fact that he is a great actor !

you see , i'm not talking about the fans !nevermind the fans !
these days , people watch crapy movies !
i'm actually talking about the academy !

ok !
his first movie (the boys life ) it wasn't that great , i must say !
but he was great in it !
the academy failed to give him atleast a nomination !
why not nominate new comers ?(atleast leo was better than ellen paige when she first got nominated )!
then , it was WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE !
now , this is a must see !
he played a mentally handicapped boy (arnie grape) !
this was when he was noticed and the academy had to nominate him !
it would have been wrong and i mean very wrong to not have nominated him for this !

WHY DIDN'T HE WIN ?
WHY ?
WHY ?

i shall move on !
what about movies like the foot shooting party ?
or the quick and the dead ?
