i have decided to write about one of the best actors of our time !
yes ! it is non other than leonardo di caprio !

now , the reason i am doing this thingy here is because i feel that leonardo doesn't get the appreciation and recognition for his work !
It is an undeniable fact that he is a great actor !

you see , i'm not talking about the fans !nevermind the fans !
these days , people watch crapy movies !
i'm actually talking about the academy !

ok !
his first movie (the boys life ) it wasn't that great , i must say !
but he was great in it !
the academy failed to give him atleast a nomination !
why not nominate new comers ?(atleast leo was better than ellen paige when she first got nominated )!
then , it was WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE !
now , this is a must see !
he played a mentally handicapped boy (arnie grape) !
this was when he was noticed and the academy had to nominate him !
it would have been wrong and i mean very wrong to not have nominated him for this !
the question was ...
WHY DIDN'T HE WIN ?
WHY ?
WHY ?

i shall move on !
what about movies like the foot shooting party ?
or the quick and the dead ?
or total eclipse ?
all these movies have something in common !
what ?

HE DIDN'T WIN !

HE WASN'T EVEN NOMINATED !



WHAT ABOUT MARVINS ROOM ?
OR MAN IN THE IRON MASK?
ALL EXCELLENT PERFORMANCES!

I'M NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT TITANIC !
IT WAS JUST OVER-RATED THAT THE WHOLE ACTING THING HAD BEEN DESTROYED !
(Kate winslet was however still fabulous )!

HE FINALLY GETS AN ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATION !
AND AGAIN !HE DOESN'T WIN !


BLOOD DIAMOND EARNED HIM ANOTHER NOMINATION !
BUT DID HE WIN ?
THE TRUTH IS HE NEVER WON !

I JUST HOPE THE ACADEMY WILL SOON SEE HIS ABILITY TO POTRAY A CHARACTER !

REVOLUTIONARY ROAD IS MY SECOND FAVOURITE MOVIE AFTER ATONEMENT !
IT'S JUST CRAZY !
I CAN WATCH IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN !

SHUTTER ISLAND WAS COOL (THE LIKES OF MARTIN SCORSESE) !

I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE INCEPTION !
AND HOW IRONIC , IT ALSO STARS ELLEN PAIGE !
