wait ! i think the razzies found a winner for this year's worst movie ! (oh wait! twilight 4 is out this year ) hahahaha !


catherine hardwicke ???? doesn't that name ring any bell????
she 's the creator of the first twilight movie .
i mean i really don't get her , especially her fascination for the woods ! twilight was practically shot in the woods and now this too ! hahaha ! (she must be very woodsy )

anyway , the movie starts with what else but not for the woods ! hahahaha !
it's sooo happens that she can't even find a good casting director ! i mean even the children couldn't act ! and what was with that whole rabbit catching scene (disturbing much ) ! the kids looked soooooo wrong !

and omg ! don't get me started with the next scene ! hahhaa ! playing " you follow me , i follow you " around the tree !! ( cheeeeeeeeessssssssssyyyyyyyyyy ) "run away and marry me to the mountains " how cheesy can this movie get !the dialogues are sooooo bad ! atleast it's at par with twilight ! the whole male deep voice thingy ~! and the weak female thingy ! arrrggggghhhhhhhh ! it's clear that catherine hardwicke reads a lot of romance novels (cheesssyy ones atleast )

and why did leonardo di caprio even produce this movie ??? obviously cause it was a definite hit at the box office ! he's smart ! people these days love the whole vampire looking image ! you know the pale , constipated looking face ! hahahaha !
did you know that jeremy iron's son was in the movie ! i mean everyone has to start somewhere , right !

amanda seyfried was fairly attractive with her artifical extra pixie ish eyes ! i didn't like that ! and here acting fit the rest of the movie ! she blended in ! (sighs) guess you know what i mean !

the soundtrack wasn't at all impressive unlike that of suckerpunch (awesome soundtrack) ! the strings were very annoying at some parts of the movie !


conclusion : save yourself your energy , time and money ! do not ! i mean do n ot watch this ! it's sooooooooo bad !

what do we think of sucker punch

walking into the cinema , i already knew what to expect . you know ( trashy women dressed in trashy clothes ) hahaha !that being said , it excludes emily browning and jenna malone only cause they've acted in movies i till this day love !

well , the movie start with a third person narration about some wacko guardian angel which may make sense in the end of the film . i love the way zack snyder filmed sucker punch ! i mean sucker punch sound ssooooooooooooooo vacant , so empty , so monotonous ! but the way the film was made really spoke to me ! from the angled sephia shots to the almost liquid-like scenes (note : the first 5 minutes of the movie) . paired with such brilliant soundtrack ( sweet dreams by annie lennox ) ! from up- beat indi rock to slow rock , this was a great move that composer marius de vries did . i've looked him up and it turns out that he worked on the composition for moulin rouge and of course , such beautiful melodious tunes we heard there .

moving on to the movie , uuummmhhh ! i don't want to reveal toooo much but it was kind of a simple based plot but they just had to throw in some complication (like twist and turns just to make the movie seem intelectual) hahaha !

the one thing i couldn't accept was this dance thingy where they (as in baby doll and her fellow tontos ) would somehow escape into their own fantasy world (the funny thing is i used to spell fantasy as phantasy ) hhahhaha !

as i was saying , this escapism was a tad to illogical for me , but then again if we can plant an idea in a dream and in another dream (3 levels) , then why not this ???????? you need to watch the movie to get the picture !


there were certain topics that we very interesting ! for instance , lobotomy !
the process of cutting the connections to and from the prefrontal cortex, the anterior part of the frontal lobes of the brain. this diminishes the consciousness or in other words you've been " ZAPPED" hahahha ! i mean you've seen this in movies like shutter island , x men and the forgotten ! it's no new thing but still intrigues me !


acting : although i know this isn't a performance driven movie , i still would like to stress that some roles could have been edited out for the greater good . for instance , blondie (vanessa ann hudgens) ! seriously , the movie would have been far better without her ! i mean her role was soooooooooo insignificant and annoying really ! why is she even called blondie ???? she's not even blonde neither is she a dessert?????? baby doll (emily browning ) was okay , i guess ! i mean she can act , we've seen her in lemony snicket's (i will not say the full title) ! she looks good as a blondie .

rocket(jenna mallone) who we saw in stepmom and pride and prejudice was okay too ! like i said , it's not a performance driven movie ! it's obviously more of the big budget thingy ( or socalled HIGH ROLLLER ) hhahhaa ! i do not wish to talk about the others cause ......


what else ??????? many people might have the perception of this movie being a cliche' chick flick (especially cause vannessa ann hudgensin it ) but really walk into the cinema hall having no expectations whatsoever and you'll come to see that all in all , sucker punch totally beats movies like twilight !

did i mention i love the soundtrack !!!!!

the trevor project honoures daniel radcliffe

with the harry potter franchise being almost at its closure , it's star daniel radcliffe has been really busy .
he took the decision to do broadway musicals such as equus which we saw practically the whole of him ! hahhahahaha ! and now , " How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" another broadway project !

besides that , he has endorsed himself in various projects ! one of which is the trevor project which focuses on suicide prevention efforts among gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youths.
daniel radcliffe has been doing his part from promoting awareness to being involved in various campaigns for the organisation !


the trevor project is now awarding dan with the hero award for his ..... (whatever he did ) !


and yay for him !

though i've been here many times , i only recently decided to blog about food !
so , here it is !
the menu has actually changed !
it was kinda better the last time i went there , from the giant treasure box to other very delectable delights !

everything here evolves around pancakes , thus the name !
hahaahaha !


there are arrays of pancakes from blueberry to new york cheese to the original one ~!

and every pancakes dessert comes with a tiny jar of maple syrup !
yay !


this time around , i tried the mini treasure box and the pancake with mango puree !
and you've got to try they're new york cheese pancakes in which the pancakes are actually stuffed with philladelphia cream cheese !
yummy !
