the academy awards fahions !

jennifer lawrence in calvin klein !

this look was simple and i like simple !
this dress was actually in the same collection that claire danes wore to the golden globes and emma stone !
did good but no risk !

jennifer hudson in versace !

she looked so good !
her new figure defitely made this couture 'esque ' dress work on her !

natalie portman in rodharte !

she always chooses purple for the oscars !
i like that she chose a flowy dress unlike the one at the sag award !

halle berry in marchesa !

stunning as always !
i don't jump of of my seat and go yay !
but at least its better than what she wore to the globes !

hilary swank in gucci !

first of all , it doesn't look like gucci !
looks like something marchesa would have whipped up !
elegant as it is , i still think she always plays it safe !
but i like the bottom part of the dress more than the top !

gwyneth paltrow in calvin klein

again , calvin keeps it really simple but with has volume and voice to it !
i like the top !
it signifies a certain sports wear and the bottom is the typical red carpet look !
all in all , i love it !
it isn't too blingeeeyyyyy !

sandra bullock in vera wang !

it's nice to see vera wang do something other than the white bridal look and red is this season's colour !
they were so many reds on the carpet but sandra really really looked awesome !
a bit old but still elegant !
what i call olegant !
hahahaaha !

cate blanchett in givenchy !

this is my best dress of the whole academy !
it's not only a designer's dream dress but also an architect's and i just love the way it's carefully constructed .
the patterns !
the bustier !
the skirt !
hahhhaha !
just truly amazing !
this is couture baby !
hahahahhaa !

that's it , i guess , cause the others didn't catch my attention !
i will miss awards season !

hope to see more great looks and movies of course in the futu'are' !
hahahahhaa !

the 83rd academy awards !

okay !
well , let me start with our hosts !
anne hatthaway and james franco !
there was a bit of issues with james franco's performance as the host of the academy awards this year . the media says that he was not bringing him A game !
hahahahaa !
leaving them aside , i think james franco will always be james franco , i actually dig his performance !
you know , his cool , laid back style !
anne on the other hand , i felt was being overly enthusiastic about everything !
she was cute but her energy just overshadowed the whole of the kodak theatre (which is a bad thing ) !
atleast to me it is ! she sings well ! i like her version of "on my own " from the musical "le miserables " ! especially the ausy part !
hahahha !
hugh jack ass !
hahahahaha !

not the best red carpet !

angelina jolie in versace !

i have to say , she looked soooo awesome !
i loved the shoulder pads !
gives it an 80s feel to it !

anne hathaway in armani prive !

i also liked this cause of the shoulder pads !
not sure of the exposed back but anne glitters all the way (in a good way that is)

emma stone in the calvin klein collection !

to tell , this was my favourite look on the carpet !
loved the colour (peach as said by emma )!
very simple but then again simplicity has it's voice !

january jones in versace :

i thought this was inappropriate !
too much skin revealed !
loved it when she rocked that pleated versace last year !
this is bad !

natalie portman in victor and rolf !

i loved this look !
really !
natalie is one of those stars who look awesome in anything !
there has been issues with the red flower but i think it's just perfect !

sandra bullock in jenny packam !

this is ugly !
sandra !
you look ugly !
ugly !
those banks don't work for you at all !
ugly !

JENNIFER LOPEZ IN ZUHAIR MURAD !

JENNY , I THOUGHT YOU LOOKED OKAY !
AS IN , THE MARKS ONLY GOES FOR THE DRESS !
MURAD SEQUENCING OF THE LABOUCHI'S ARE STUNNING !
I DON'T LIKE IT THAT THE SPAGHETTI STRAPS ARE VISIBLE !

MEGAN FOX IN ARMANI PRIVE !

i thought the colour really worked for her skin tone !
that's all (as miranda precely would say) !

confused and kinda worried !

my mother and i were in her room last night talking about movies and the globes (mostly about a.r. rahman being nominated again for his music in 127 hours ) and the topic just slipped to my future education plans .

as all of you know , i was planning to do a degree in architecture but recently my mother hasn't been agreeing to this at all .
she wants a safe , risk free future !
you know , theones where you actually get employed ang actually earn a lot !
i understand that , but i'm slightly confused now , cause i've been into architecture and all those artsy fartsy stuff !
i don't know what to do ?

and then i thought , maybe i should major in maths !
hahahahha !
and what would i become ?
a lecturer !
i really don't have a clue right now !
i'll just wait till my results are out !
