my very own oscar predictions !

even though i haven't watched all the movies ,i think i will still go ahead with the predictions !


best picture : either the social network or king's speech or inception

best director : david fincher or the coen brothers (i hope nolan wins but it is unlikely )

best actress : natalie portman

best actor : colin firth

best supporting actress : helena bonham carter or amy adams


best supporting actor : maybe christian bale or geoffrey rush !(tricky)

best score : alexander desplat or the those social network dudes
a.r rahman is unlikely to win again (unless a miracle happens) the score for 127 hours was actually the best compared to all of the other movies !

best special effects : harry potter and the deathly hallows or inception !
i would really like to see harry potter take home an oscar !

my mother and i were in her room last night talking about movies and the globes (mostly about a.r. rahman being nominated again for his music in 127 hours ) and the topic just slipped to my future education plans .

as all of you know , i was planning to do a degree in architecture but recently my mother hasn't been agreeing to this at all .
she wants a safe , risk free future !
you know , theones where you actually get employed ang actually earn a lot !
i understand that , but i'm slightly confused now , cause i've been into architecture and all those artsy fartsy stuff !
i don't know what to do ?


and then i thought , maybe i should major in maths !
hahahahha !
and what would i become ?
a lecturer !
i really don't have a clue right now !
i'll just wait till my results are out !

fondant for celebration !

hello world ,


lately i've been entangled with an obsession for fondant or in other words , cake decorating (especially cupcakes).
i really don't have the interest for cooking or even baking for that matter , but just the art aspect of food !
i believe that even the worlds most horrible meal would atleast look yummy if it has proper presentation !

never mind that !
coming back to fondant and sugar paste . actually , i do remember posting something about this sometime last year .

uummh ! YES !

TH FACT IS , I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO TRY AND MOULD OR DECORATE CUPCAKES WITH THIS MERE FONDANT AND I HAVEN'T HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO !
I'VE ONLY BEEN MESSING AROUND WITH MODELING CLAY FOR THE PAST TWO MONTH IN ATTEMPT TO PRACTICE !
I CAN'T PRACTICE WITH FONDANT !
IT'S JUST SIMPLY EXPENSIVE !
YOU JUST CAN'T PRACTICE WITH FONDANT !
MODELING CLAY SHOULD DO THE TRICK AND IS WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING (AS MENTIONED ABOVE ) !


THE THING IS , I WANTED TO DO IT FOR CHRISTMAS BUT TIME WAS MERELY JEALOUS OF ME (JHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA) !

SO , I'VE DECIDED TO MEDDLE WITH FONDANT AND SUGAR PASTE THIS CHINESE NEW YEAR !
